Ebenfalls aus dem Bericht von Martini Republic stammt die Meldung, dass das Radiohead-Cover Creep die erste Singleauskopplung von MTV Unplugged: Korn sein soll.

Terry Bozzio springt für David ein

Laut einem Bericht von Martini Republic wird kein geringerer als Terry Bozzio David während seiner einjährigen Pause vertreten. Terry Bozzio, der als einer der besten Drummer der Rock-Geschichte gilt, wird beim kommenden Album und bei der anschließenden Tour den Job von David übernehmen. Er hat schon mit sehr vielen anderen Künstlern, wie zum Beispiel Duran Duran, Steve Vai, Paul Hyde, Herbie Hancock, Dweezil Zappa, Billy Sheehan, Richard Marx, Matsumoto Hideto, etc. zusammengearbeitet.

Live On The Other Side DVD

Knapp ein Jahr nach dem Erscheinen in den USA erscheint die zweite Live-DVD von Korn - Live On The Other Side - nun doch noch in Deutschland. Laut Amazon soll die DVD hier am 22.02.2007 auf den Markt kommen. Hier könnt ihr euch die DVD vorbestellen.

Weitere Informationen zu MTV Unplugged: Korn

Aus einer Presse-Mitteilung von MTV vom 05.12.2006, die ich aber erst jetzt entdeckt habe, geht hervor, dass die CD MTV Unplugged: Korn am 20.02.2007 erscheinen soll. Da es sich dabei um einen Dienstag handelt, ist somit bestimmt der US-Release gemeint. Als Erscheinungsdatum für Deutschland kommt dann der 16.02.2007 in Frage. Hier der komplette Text:

The Latest Installment In The Critically Acclaimed MTV Music Series To Premiere On-Air and Online February 2007

New York, NY (December 5, 2006) – MTV today announced that it will air “MTV Unplugged: KORN” an upcoming installment of its Grammy award-winning series “Unplugged” to live across all of its multiple platforms including MTV, mtvU, MTV Tr3́s, MTV.com, wireless and more. Family Values Tour 2006 CD steigt auf Platz #102 ein

Laut MTV-Berichten ist die CD der Family Tour 2006 auf Platz #102 der Billboard Album Charts eingestiegen. Bisher wurden 14300 Stück verkauft. Wieviele der DVDs verkauft worden sind, geht aus dem Bericht nicht hervor.
